Merging organic form with everyday function, the "Wishbone" coffee table is designed to gracefully meet the demands of useful sculpture. An irresistibly rich, amber base, made of hard and heavy jatoba, is topped by a substantial slab of shaped and polished glass. The spanning arms of the wishbone suggest a direct, yet elegant way of connecting the floor, the table surface and the shelf that lies between the two. These spans, combined with the central x-joint, also frame various views of the table, and create a striking interplay of curves and lines, that constantly change as the table is seen from different perspectives.
